Sand Lake Outpost

Our three extraordinary cottages are located on a beautiful 40 acre island just north of Minaki. The island is set between Little Sand Lake and Big Sand Lake on the Winnipeg River.

Sand Lake Outpost is not what you would typically imagine when you think of an outpost cabin or remote cottage… It is so much more. The accommodations are majestic and quite unique to the area. These rental cottages are distinct in their incomparable comfort and design, their location, and close proximity to favourite fishing spots.

Each place is fully outfitted;  They have cell service, satellite TV, a stocked ice house and ample docking space with power. The island also has a 2 km walking trail to explore!
